    I have a cute little wooden table that as a flower like marking inserted under the table top and as i have only recently taken an interest in buying and refurbing furniture for my own personal use i would hate to ruin somthing that could be unique and was wondering if anybody could help me please

      Roses in this style were used in Heraldry in Great Britain and Germany, as well as other lands for thousands of years. An example:

      Gothic or Tudor revival comes to mind.

      To me it's the White Rose of Yorkshire. If you put the Red Rose and White Rose together you have a Tudor Rose.
