hi like minded people ! i recently saved this trunk, im wondering if anyone can help with ID ? its way too nice to be discarded, its got to be old, brass gilding, iron studs and no screws, leather inlays. Any ideas? Thank you :) Joey

Your trunk was most likely made in England, but not in America. probably from around 1890 or so. The "brass"n is probably brass plated, and you can quickly check any suspected brass with a magnet. Nice find.
