This is a typical traditional Bulgarian embroidery. It is made from my mother more than 40 years ago.Unfortunately today this tradition is dying out and no one produce potentates like embroidery!

This type of geometric decoration is used in Bulgarian folk costumes from the 5th century. I have long noticed the similarity between our embroidery and tissues of American nations. And never could explain this similarity, it may be just a coincidence as Egyptian and American pyramids!
