We obtained this serving tray at an Estate Sale and we have been trying to determine the maker and pattern. The glass tray is about 12 inches in diameter with a handle as seen in the photo. It has what looks like a rose pattern but in researching the pattern it does not appear anywhere. We think it is depression glass but might be elegant glassware as well.
Can anyone help use identify the pattern and maker of this beautiful dish?
You center handled server (CHS) is Elegant Glass, some which was from the depression era but extends well beyond. The handle design is often the tell of the pattern and maker; so it helps to have a clear profile outline of the handle. This may be Central Glass #1435 but most of those I find are noted as 10.5" diameter. The etch is Lotus #901 Grecian Etch; Lotus Glass Co. purchased glass in bulk from various makers and applied their decorations for resale.
We have added additional pictures of the handle in hopes they will help to identify the plate maker better. We also measured the plate and it is exactly 10.5 inches in diameter.
that does look to match Central #1435
