    This was a retirement gift I gave to one of my favorite gals at work. I think it may be from the early 1900's, but am not completely certain. The pin has such a wonderful buttery smooth brass boarder, with stamped oak leaf detail and a lovely amber glass acorn.

      The "whiplash" on the left and the closure speak for 1900, you're right in my opinion :-)
      It must be a well loved retirement gift!
