Hi, you really do not want to drink what was in this dispenser. :D :D

This is a pharmacien's bottle, and originally contained a man's eau de toilette "La Route Bleue" by Claude Galien et Cie.

Men would take their atomiser to the chemist, and have them refilled from this bottle.

Sorry, Claude Galien is not a company, but a 114 year-old registered trademark of the Thomas, Guinamand company. The company still exists, and still makes "La Route Bleue".

Thankyou for answering this mystery and especially the humour.
I shall not forget "what's-it-called" in a hurry.
      Jennifer.
