The Whalers are part of Binghamton's great hockey tradition. They were the top farm team of The Hartford Whalers. Binghamton is still in The American Hockey League, existing as The Binghamton Senators, who are sponsored by the NHL's Ottawa Senators.
Though having one of the smallest capacity's in the League, the loyal fans fill the Arena, thus keeping the franchise viable.
Old time hockey…...
Thanks, aghcollect! I enjoyed Whaler games very much! I've continued to attend games, as there is now a team, The Wilkes-Barre-Scranton Penguins playing closer to my home.
Their practices are open to the public, and I attend them, too. These are really neat, and I've learned a lot from being there!

Ha, ha, thanks, Tommy! Yes, the Phantoms are doing well on the ice and at the gate.
