This vase is one of my favorites because it is unlike anything I have seen from anyone else EVER!
From FTG Marti it is made from dark green glass with blue swirly lines, leading to an amber top with orange and white murrine inclusions. The whole thing is thickly cased in clear and clear ribs have been added and twisted. The external shape of the base and top is square, the internal shape is a cylinder.
Made early 80s - see my next Marti post.
It is busy and different and wonderful!
And big!!
height 30cm (12in)
width 13cm (5in)
weight(according to my scale) is EEEEEE, over 4kgs
stunning vase !!!
Thanks SS! (sweet Sean)
