I give up! I cant find any information on this anywhere. It's made of wood and measures 3 x 3 1/4 and 2 1/2 high. Anyone have an idea?

Looks like the press portion of a butter press. They came in different sizes, shapes and some had fancy designs. Some had this type stub handle and others had what is called an extended handle. This seems to have air release holes from what I see. Not positive but worth researching. Some of the fancy ones go over $100.
