Awesome find! What shoreline?
May I ask where Lake Livingston is?
Cold springs tx
Isn't that way to far east for petrified wood? Maybe material traded from Indians further west?
Our creeks and rivers are full of petrified wood!! Lake not so much but it's there.
I'm rather surprised as I never thought or heard of petrified wood in E. TX. Hard to tell by the pic, but does it look like it flaked well when being made? I've never heard of a point being made of petrified wood & wouldn't think it would flake well. This would probably be from the Wichita Tribe?
I have something almost identicld grain and color found on Onalaska side of the lake!
