It looks like the a pin to me and I think the pin is from the early 60's

Looks like a home-made crafter pin, which would place it definitely late 60s-early 70s. Maybe ceramic? If it's that heavy, it probably isn't polyresin - and it's definitely hand-made. The pin finding is the kind you can buy at craft stores. Nice agate, lovely green.

I think it was made in a craft workshop. The pin is a craft pin, the 'resin' looks like filmo - this is a sort of clay that is from art stalls, and the stone looks like a polished one from a car boot. The earliest time this may have been made is 1960's, when all the above became available through retail outlets, world wide. That is if you are in the UK. Earlier if you live somewhere else. I think, perhaps, you may find some more of the same, if it is from a workshop, as they may use the same design every year. The stone could be a real one ( loads are manufactored to look like stones) which would date it to the 1960's rather than later - so many people fake stones now, it is hard to tell the difference

It is a recently made pin.... Typically they are made in South America. You can find them at hippie shops, tourist traps, and flea markets. Hope this helps
