    Hello
I am interested in finding more about and the value of a large vase or urn that I have owned for over 40 years.

It was given to me by my mother who got it as a gift from an uncle of hers (Edgar Weeks 1839-1904) who was a congressman from MI in the late 1800s.

He got it on a "junket " to the orient sometime between 1865 and 1900..
it is 21 inches tall and has a diameter of 6.75 inches at the top .

the body is mostly mottled gray stone color with indentation on one side with gold figures.

    thanks you for your efforts
