I love these old Czech. Knuckle vases and I picked up a couple of these from a dealer in S.Florida. They are completely different in the treatment of the spatter. This one has the spatter encased with an outer and inner layer of clear glass (you can't feel the spatter) and the other has the spatter (that you can feel) completely covering the outside with an obvious clear layer on the inside. The one shown here measures 6" tall, has a 3 1/2" square top and has a polished pontil with the round semi-circle "Czechoslovakia" mark. I will post the other vase later today. RER(BOB)
