This is a clock passed down from my Grandmother, please can somebody tell me what make it is and how old it is. It chimes every half and hour. Has a key wind and unfortunately that's about all I know

Can't really see much in your one photo.

In order to help identify your clock, please provide the following:

Any and all information printed, stamped or labeled on the dial, movement, case, pendulum and key. This includes names, trademarks, serial/model/patent numbers and dates.

How often does it need to be re-wound?

Measurements of the dial and case. Please take measurements at the longest, widest, and deepest points only.

Well lit photos of the entire case, with close-ups of the dial, movement and any distinctive decorative feature(s) or labels.

Please note if the case appears to have a veneer, simulated or "faux" finish.

Any additional provenance information available, date and location of purchase for example.

This information will be very helpful, but it still may not lead to a definitive model or date.

Looks like an HAC mantle clock from Germany. Depending on age can be fairly valuable. If it is, however, I think it wouldn't wind.. It would work on a pendulum. I'm NOT an expert but have coincidentally just purchased one that looks VERY similar.
