This is the second piece that I've come across by this mystery maker. The bottom is signed in long hand but not very legible. Obviously a studio piece, but by who ?? I get a European feel from it myself. I love the design and the glaze of these pieces. Take a peek at my other post from a year ago and you will see the similarities in the design. (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/104783-studio-art-pottery-covered-dish-leaf-an?in=collection-1867) This one is like a small tureen or casserole. It's roughly 8" in diameter. The label in the bottom says it's oven and microwave safe, so it's of recent vintage. The signature on the other piece is much clearer but I still can't decipher it. I bet someone here knows and I could solve both mysteries at the same time.

What does the sticker inside say?
Kind of looks like that Mary. I do see an "F" .... the label inside says " Oven and Microwave safe" so it's not old. Well not older than the invention of the microwave. Which could be the 70's or even newer.
