An old Coca-Cola seltzer bottle is hard to find with a large script logo ACL. So I had no problem stepping up when a great one appeared BIN ebay listing.
I could not find this example from Fargo, ND in any of the last 4 Petretti's guides. But based on similar bottles, I paid approx 50% premium on value to bring her home. Ouch.
Resistance was futile given condition, quasi-Art Deco vibe (might be a reach), and label detail. Pure Carbonated Water. When mixed with Coca-Cola syrup and crushed ice, what could be more Delicious and Refreshing?
Looks great displayed next to the Vernon Kilns bowl and others. From the picture it appears to be in great shape as well. Nice find!
Thank you Sir E'fan. The Bottlers didn't have time to bother with little details like trademark info. Interestingly, the bottom of this ND bottle has the same maker marks as my Susanville, Calif. seltzer bottle, with one number variation. I think they were made the same year or around the same time. Would love to nail down year. Where is that secret Coca-Cola decoder ring when you need it!
Very cool piece !
Thank you Mani!
When Phil Mooney retired, they gave him the decoder ring.
Another amazing item Dave, love how you're always finding such unique additions to your collection! Very cool!!

WELL..... finally.... less freezing, more melting!!!! I can see the cold has kept you in front of the ebay machine, and it looks like a good thing!
I hear ya Tom, nice to see a little grass out back. Yessir, soon lawn work and golf will nudge collecting out da way in my leisure priorities.

Thanks Julie Jewels, that's a high compliment!
