- Cover photo: World Motorcycle Speed Record holders Robert Burns and Russell Wright with a bagpiper before boarding the ship Rangitata back to England. In July 1955, Russell Wright set a world speed record of 185 mph (298 km/h) on a Vincent "Black Lightning" at Tram Road near Christchurch. Robert Burns set a world sidecar speed record of 163 mph (253 km/h) at the same event using Wright's "Black Lightning" with his sidecar. - Second picture is a Hollywood starlet employed by a California Sunbeam dealer to grace the current model in his showroom. - Third picture is lovely Italian model Eletta Polvani posing with a scooter. - Last picture is Johnny Draper, winner of the Belgian Moto-Cross Grand Prix, riding his B.S.A.
