Just purchased this very beautiful old Asain painting and was hoping someone knowledgeable in Adain art may help me out with some info ect. It is marked as well as the tag on the back with some info (this king maybe it was once auctioned? It does list the artist as "WC" but cannot come up with much. I keep coming up on search of 'WC" is maybe Wen C Fong, but from what I read he is not an artist? I just don't know. Anyone possibly know anything about this piece?
I have two very similar style flowers and birds a bit different, definitely similar though with red stamp signature and a horizontal black line on top and some other asian lettering between black line and red stamp. I don't even know if it is Chinese or Japanese but have had in my family for years.
