vintage hard rubber two wheel bike

Please give me any info on this adorable childs two wheel bike i bought to refinish....
Any information at all would be helpful...
it is 28 inches long and only 14 inches high from the seat down....
It says Leader on the front badge but also made in Canada across the top of the badge....so i think it is just called a Leader not a Leader brand bike....
