KEM Plastic Pinochle Playing Cards

This is my set of Maple Leaf KEM Plastic Pinochle Playing Cards made in 1974. KEM has a date code on the ace of spades card to indicate manufacture date; the number 474 indicated April 1974. The number is also on the replacement service card. This deck has been around the world on the USS Constellation and USS Nimitz. We enjoyed playing many hands of pinochle. After all we were captive at sea 24 hours a day working 12 hours on and 12 hours off for many months. This set has been in my wardrobe drawer for about 35 years now, as no else in my family plays pinochle. They still look like new. Maybe it's time to find some old timers and play some pinochle : )
