This is a fairly contemporary unsigned Impressionist painting of a scene along the River Thames UK. I can find no signature but this is very well executed. Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks to Paris1925, kyra and others for helping to solve this issue.
Paris1925 Great job in finding the actual picture!!!

Frederick "Childe" Hassam Reproduction "Houses Of Parliament Early Evening"

Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Childe Hassam became one of America's most noted Impressionist painters, but he never labelled himself in that way asserting he was more interested in the emotional content of his paintings than the technique of applying color. He also completed over 350 etchings and drypoints and about 45 lithographs, most of them after he was 56 years old. Watercolor was another specialty, and Hassam was one of the founders of the New York Water Color Society.

His parents were well educated and of New England Puritan heritage. They named him Frederick Childe Hassam, but he dropped that first name early in his career because someone persuaded him that the name of Childe was more exotic.

Thanks Paris 1925! Have you ever seen this before?

Agree with paris1925, from the close up enlarged pics, it is a real painting, not a kind of repro with a layer of varnish to give paint effect.
What is the size of the view?

Yes vintagelamp, I nice view from the backing will help.
What is it ?? canvas or artist board .
Agree with Paris many time lot of clue on the back of paintings, and sometimes more then the front.
I kind also like the Monet look.

      Bravo Paris!
So, it is a repro (but painted) the staples which hold the canvas are the clue!

Thank you everyone for the comments and help!

Paris1925, I applaud you! Great job! Thank you also for the link! I really appreciate your great efforts! Wonderful detective work!!!

      Kyra,
Yes, I knew that I was right as soon as I saw the staples...nothing like my old paintings. I have actually learned something through the years. Of course, I bought it as a contemporary painting so I am not surprised.

      artislove, I totally agree.

Now, I wish that someone could help with my Mozart portrait which is actually old.
