OK Here are more pictures after I took the painting out of the frame. I always assumed this was a fairly-recent painting. I must have liked it because I love Monet but I had never seen the similar pictures that he painted of this scene. I also assume that this is a new artist trying to paint like Monet or just a near copy of his works (?) This is on canvas and there is some paint on the edges.

Thanks to Paris1925, kyra and others for helping to solve this issue.
Paris1925 Great job in finding the actual picture!!!

Reproduction Of Frederick Childe Hassam "Houses Of Parliament Early Evening"

Born in Dorchester, Massachusetts, Childe Hassam became one of America's most noted Impressionist painters, but he never labelled himself in that way asserting he was more interested in the emotional content of his paintings than the technique of applying color. He also completed over 350 etchings and drypoints and about 45 lithographs, most of them after he was 56 years old. Watercolor was another specialty, and Hassam was one of the founders of the New York Water Color Society.

His parents were well educated and of New England Puritan heritage. They named him Frederick Childe Hassam, but he dropped that first name early in his career because someone persuaded him that the name of Childe was more exotic.

Is that the signature in your third picture? - very very faint, right above the staple?

paris1925, It states Jerry Solomon custom picture framing CA and back is completely covered in paper. It looks new. My only disappointment with the painting is that I hoped it was a one-of-a-kind new. Otherwise I am happy with the picture. It goes very well with the Jacques Ourtal, Mozart Portrait and Venice Night scene painting that I have on the wall beside it. At least the other three are old and original with no staples (LOL!)
