Here is a builder plate I bought at a train show recently.It is a Electro-Motive Division (General Motors)surprise,surprise!
Built for the Illinois Central RR in 1957 as a GP-9 engine,in 1971 it was rebuilt as a GP-10 by the Illinois Central-Gulf RR ,then later sold to the Midsouth RR,and well ,obviously scrapped since I have the plate!The photos are not mine,but found online ****** OF THIS ENGINE!!!!!!!
