    These are two photographs of my maternal grandmother from Germany. They were taken in 1943 on Easter Day in Uberlingen City Park. She is the age of 37 in these two photos. Uberlingen is a city on the northern shore of Lake Constance in the far southern part of Germany. Directly across Lake Constance is the country of Switzerland.

      If the compact, any of her rings, or that large pendant necklace were retained by my mom - my sister may have them. - In 1943, my mom would have only been about 13 years old and she was an only child, so any personal items or jewelry passed down would have gone to her.
