Super Rare Wheaton set Only given to the Hostess "never sold to the public" My Great Aunt was one of the top seller's of Wheaton in the early 70's. She gave me this super rare set.
(( Some pieces still have the price tag from when she sold them ))
very nice set! curious to know if these pieces are marked Wheaton? Wheaton purchased the molds from Kemple in 1970 and used them until 1979. Kemple had previously acquired the molds from McKee. Most of the pieces are McKee's Yutec pattern c1909, and the 2 candlesticks are McKee's Toltec pattern c1903.
AWSOME ! U don't even need a blacklite for those !
I hope u know they glow ! Yep ! Got urself some Uranium glass there !! High end ! I'd say about $ 350.00 for the set ! If not more ! $$
There a keeper for sure ! And URANIUM Won't bite ya :..:
Thanx !! Extremely Extraordinary !!!!
They are Wheaton they were given to my Great Aunt by Wheaton as a top Hostess gift.... I also have the same set in Blue and Amber.
This set was never sold to the public.
The Flash ON is the reason the glow so yellow !!! They do not glow like this with the flash off...
If it is yellow it could mean Vaseline glass.
not questioning that these are Wheaton; just curious if they have a Wheaton mark since some of their glass was marked. The Yutec and Toltec patterns are fairly common with many reproduction pieces in circulation made by Kemple. Your provenance may improve the value.
