It was in our house when we bought it and was told it was put in when the house was built (mid-1930s). I use it every day. I love it! It was made at the Magic Chef, American Stove Company, St. Louis, Mo. It has 4 burners and a square stove. It lights with a match and does not have a pilot light. The oven door has a broken hinge on the left side, but it still closes. It is green and ivory porcelain. The stove number is 550-A and the serial number is 2315.
I have the exact same stove. It was left at our house when we bought it, and it was also put in when they built this house. It was not hooked up though, just sitting in the basement. I would love to hook it up and use it though. Do you have the owners maual or any tips about it?
I too have the exact same stove. My grandmother bought it new and my father gave it to me appx. 30 years ago. It works great but I do not use it any more because I do not have natural gas where I am living now.
I just purchased this exact same stove. It only needs new door springs and cleaning up.I'm so looking forward to using it summer of 2017
