Not sure if this is Kralik or Lietz, loved the draped glass affect, only issue is flattened rim edge on salt; can anyone advise if possible to fix, and if it is expensive? Love this salt!

I should think that a silversmith would be able to help. Do you have an art college near you? Could you not soak the rim free in warm soapy water? That works on old lamp collars, I believe. Just a thought though, seek advice from a pro first.

Thanks much lisa-lighting! I sure would like to get it fixed, too nice a salt to have a boo boo, LOL! Will have to try to find a silversmith! I think it would be worth it; unless it is really expensive.....

      Dear Prefumer,
The cost is why I wondered if you had an art college near by. All you need is an accomplished student. I know here in Ontario Canada one would approach Georgian college they offer both Goldsmithing an Silversmithing. You might also approach a jeweller or someone studying jewellery making? Just google your area for schools that offer either. Speak with the instructor and ask for their best student. ;o)
