I found this clock in a friends collection. It did not work and I had to replace one bushing. It runs just fine now. When I removed the movement I found "Syracuse decorative Clock" Engraved on the back plate. It also says made in Germany. I have done very limited research on the unit but it does seem to fit the description of the kind of fancy molded decorations that the Syracuse clock company became known for.

My question to anyone is...Does anyone recognize the clock? Can you tell me anything about it, particularly its date of production?

You can respond here or to my personal email at psperber@verizon.net.

    Thanks to all.
