An early and attractive 24" die cut porcelain enamel sign rarely used by New Eng Tel & Tel. Containing four chains and eight swivel points
with a cut-out around the bell to reduce wind resistance, these signs wore out quickly and were replaced with a less attractive rectangular sign
with the words Central Office at the bottem. This sign was used in Charlton Center, MA and is original with bracket and a production photograph. It may be the prototype.
MARVELOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You don't run across these signs to often, great telephone sign.
