My son found this one at a local goodwill. Piece is 8" long(with applied tail). top fin, eyes and pectoral fins all also applied after main body blown. There is a 1/8" hole bored in the back part of the dorsal fin, looks like it has rusty remnant of some kind of steel hanger. No maker's mark, but I'm leaning toward Chinese make.
In my opinion, you are leaning the right direction. Lovely piece as all it matters is what you like. Your son could keep it in his room, and be proud of his find!!
