Robert Maxwell's prolific and distinctive production of pottery from the 1960s is highly collectible and limited in its availability. He is most well known for his imagined animals (critters, beasties, figurines) which originated on the potter’s wheel as vessels and then morphed into imaginary animals. The open top becomes the mouth of the beast and the base, with the addition of a tail, becomes the rear end.
Awesome!
Thanks racer!
