two foo dogs lions glazed pottery marked

They measure about 5 1/2" long, the widest part where tail is is about 9 3/4".
Looks like they are made of pottery with a glaze (possibly tin). The color is light greenish. The mane and tail have a lot of detail, mouth is open, with fangs and other teeth. Arms and feet have claws. The lions are on top of a ball?
Do you know if these are antique or vintage, from China, or anything else you can tell me? Karen
