Serving up a helping of "Extinct Mackerel Shark Teeth Fossils".
Otodus Obliquus
These came from Morocco. Mackerels swam the seas 60 to 80 million years ago. The composition of minerals in the seabed are responsible for the tan coloring of shark teeth from Morocco. Mackerel teeth from Morocco are highly sought after, for the jewelry trade around the world.
The maximum total length of Mackerel Shark is said by expert scientists to be 39'. Most were able to reach about 30'. I don't know the sizes of the Mackerels that these teeth came from, except that the larger one was easily large enough to eat just about anything it wanted, except for the true king of the seas Megalodon.
