This piece of art was headed for the Dumpster doom when I recued it. I've researched it a bunch and found that Alec was born in California, then was moved to New York. He went to Polytech there, and Graduated from Columbia University. He did some art there and was in several showings there. Then he moved back to California and did quite a bit there. I just happen to be in CA, this week and have been to many studios, and art history museums without much luck. I know he has a lot of good work out ther but not having much luck on gertting prices on values etc. I did see one report on an auction of some of his work going for about a grand. I guess there is also a book in print of his work. Any info would really be appreciated it's in perfect condition, except some goldpaint? rubbed off the frame. By the way the print shop stamp stamp on the back is in Peoria IL.,90 miles South of the American Pickers Place They have not framed pics for 20 -30 years, and the guy there now says that stamp was before him and hes ben there 20-30 years ...no luck yet on finding the guy who might know when it was famed. Sure would appreciate any leads. Thanks
