Another auction purchase from this weekend. The back read PainTree and is dated 1978. The buckle is 3 1/2" wide and 2 3/4" tall. I have found a number of PainTree buckles but nothing like this! Does anyone have any more information?

Beautiful Buckle! We must of course add information on the THUNDERBIRD which was so important to Native Americans. Here's a Wikipedia link. RER

The back says RainTree not PainTree, sorry. :(
