This vase belonged to my wife's grandparents. It measures 8 1/2" tall x approx. 5". It is hand signed on bottom and is quite heavy. The only other one like this, that I was able to find was on a Scandinavian auction website for 320 Euros. It would be wonderful to find out the age.

The design is called Jäkälä (Lichen in English) designed in 1951 and produced up until 1964 and is much sought after.

Thanks for the production dates & the design info! We love this vase, my wife remembers her grandmother placing tulips from her garden in it, when she was young.
