    used for. They are glued in place in the box and there are 12 of them.

      The dolls are very nice. I hope you can get information about them.I have something that is similar.

      Hi! these may be Kabuki actors dolls called, Kokeshi ( koe-kay-she ).
      Most dolls were used in rituals and ceremonies.
