    Does anyone know what this says and what these little wooden dolls are
    used for. They are glued in place in the box and there are 12 of them.

      Hi! these may be Kabuki actors dolls called, Kokeshi ( koe-kay-she ).
      Most dolls were used in rituals and ceremonies.
