Hi
Everyone.
I start to get a fews of those Sheurich Keramik,Western Germany fat lava ceramic vase, here another one found today at Value Village at my lunch time, the day already start very well on the hunting, this is very nice example of the workmanship of this Company model #292-15, year -1970
This 292 pattern coming in a wide variety of glaze, the one i found is quite amazing color.
This Vase stand, 6 inch tall, on a 2.75 base, 2.25 top opening.
Thanks for viewing.

Scheurich Keramik started to manufacture ceramics widely known as West German Pottery in 1954. The factory’s designers created the largest range of shapes and glazes, which were in-vogue during the time. Scheurich became known for applying up to 100 glazes to a single shape or form. The company located in Kleinheubach, Germany quickly became the leading producer of these ceramics, particularly in the 1960s-80s. Scheurich continues to produce ceramics today.
This is a bit different to a lot of Scheurich. I'm not familiar with this shape (meaningless statement really...I know little about West German Pottery!).
I think the shape and the glaze give this almost a 1930s look.
Many thanks, racer4four, for the comment and the love.
Hi
racer
Actually, when i see it, i was thinking older, but i realize, they do really good job to make look old, i see many example on the web with differents finish on the model #292.
I start..... to really like Scheurich.

Nice Alan!! I know VV charges $$$ as soon as they see W. Germany now these days. In the older days you could find piece with a decent price on them.
Now at VV here - if it is even a small, small piece of WGP, they are like $ 30 for it. They used to ask something like $6.99 before for those piece.
VV is going to out-price itself pretty soon....In my opinion.....
Hi
