    I have a petroleum/oil Lamp which has a glass tank bottom and chimney with the fittings been brass.

    I'd love to know any opinions or thoughts as I don't no anything else. It's a family item and has only just been found.

      It looks like a Bracket lamp missing the hardware. In other words, it has a clamp-like device that went around the middle that was attached to the wall that also probably held a metal reflector to intensify the light. From the looks of the color and burner, I would guess it dates 1960-70's. The thumbwhell (wick adjuster) may have a name or design that will enable you to find more info. as to who manufactured it.       That should read "Collar" not color. Fingers not co-operating this morning. RER
