I have an antique powder horn that I purchased at an auction in Michigan. I was told this powder horn was originally purchased at an auction of a collection owned by a person called ‘Trader Joe’. The engraving shows a trail and what appears to be a church or mission house. The engraving shows pine trees, a fish, a person carrying a canoe and lakes with rivers between the lakes. There is no date inscribed and I can only assume it is from Michigan. Can anyone identify 'Trader Joe' or tell me something about this powder horn?
I love the way it displays the history on the horn it's the first I have seen it like this nice one
