This Aluminum swizzle stick from Warnick's Cafe, of Wilkes-Barre, PA is of a type that you don't see very often! It is about 15.5Cm (6.25 inches) long, and is in the form of a golf club.
It's really a catchy item, and I assume that golf was big at Warnick's. I'm hoping that the metal didn't react with the contents that some of the drinks called for…ugh, it might make one want to give up drinking, or at least using Aluminum swizzle sticks!
Almost looks like a crochet hook! Do you think the golfers rested up at the club and crocheted a quick doiley or two?
Ha, ha….thank you, racer4four! Well, ya never know…..that golf is a nerve wracking game….maybe crocheting took the edge off! :)

Good afternoon, gargoylecollector, I appreciate the love….
I was just about to post pix of a set of these very clubs!
Difference being that mine are marked "Detroit Golf Club" on one side and "Seasons Greetings 1939" on the other.
So, that might be a nice clue as to the age of yours!
Wonder who was the official maker of golf club promo items back then?
