    Looks exactly like King Louis XVI of France who designated Limoges as the only official place where French porcelain could be made - before he died.
    No wonder they honored him even later in time.
    Very high quality painting in the portrait, and looser painting on the reverse side of the vase.
    Ten inches high and 3.5 inches wide.

      According to marks4antiques, this mark was used between 1892-1907

      I think it’s Louis XVI

      I did a search and didn’t find another Limoges vase with his portrait, so may be quite rare.
      Here are examples of portrait of him, but I’m pretty sure that’s who it is

      Tresseman & Vogt is the full name of the maker

      I did find out Tresseman & Vogt is the name. However, didn't find much about the company other than that they existed during that time frame - 1892 - 1907.
      Don't know if they existed longer than that time or not.
      So glad you found the info about Louis XVI....will look into that possibility more.
