This little oil lamp measures 4 1/2" tall, it has a round wick and the shade twists on (not a screw on), just one short twist and it's secure. There is no maker's mark, any information that could be shared ad to maker or where it would beusrd would be great.....Thanks in Advance.
This is THE GLOW NIGHT LAMP patented in the United States and Europe. You have lamp Style #2 and it claims to Burns Kerosene Vapour and Makes and Consumes its Own Gas. The Glow Lamp headquarters was located at 73 & 75 Pearl Street, Boston, Mass. U.S.A. and they sold for 50 cents in the late 1890's. RER
Fun post. Miniature lamps are fun to collect and don't take up much room.
Thank you so much for the information! :)
