We purchased this small seed pot about 20 years ago at an Indian pow-wow type event.
    The painting is VERY detailed.
We do not know the artists name. Any help appreciated.
It is slightly larger than 3 inches across.
Initials seem to be HB or HZ, but possible JS?

It really is! And it was new about 20 years ago when we bought it. We paid $70 then, I believe.

Definitely has that Acoma Pueblo look to it - and I believe they call these "seed pots" - that may help in your search.

Yes, it must be a seed pot and I am thinking Acoma, too. I will change the title.
      Thanks!

It may be a JS - Jackie Shutiva Histia - but I can't find her mark to compare. If you look at your third picture, it looks like a J over S

I also have a seed pot with the same marking on it and am trying to identify the artist. Any luck with your search?
