I have never thought about how old this piece of furniture before posting it. But it is a good place to hang my hats and jacket. Also a good place for canes, walking sticks, and umbrellas should I ever get one. It is old enough to have lost the original ha/coat hooks.
Just a note this is probably Eastlake style.
