Flower of the Month by Hoya Crystal

Hoya Crystal really did make lovely glass and you have possibly seen these flower series plates before.

Designed and acid signed by T Yamamoto these were a product of the 80s when Hoya were at the height of their "art" crystal production.

Lovely intaglio flowers have been moulded into the glass and then the plates appear to have been machine finished.

I have the poppy and carnation and I guess there are 10 more for the other months.
I know these pop up in charity shops so if you see them, get them!
Hoya Crystal is lovely and still affordable, and will appreciate.
