This is one of my favourites.Typical and characteristic for Deco era for its colour (rosaline),design (geometric form) and a pattern (fruit) very popular at that time, frequently frosted.
It's attributed to Salomon Reich glassworks Karolinina( also Karolinka,Charlottenhutte),1934.
Hope,you like it to!
In Poland ( as far as i know not only here).. it's called "rosaline",because it's not pink, not orange or peach - the mixture of them, and when you say rosaline, you know exactly what colour it is.
I'm glad you like it too:-)
Not easy to mix flowing curves and straight lines and achieve harmony.....but I think the designer succeeded here. Love it.
Many thanks to Vladimir,aghcollect,Pat,Sean,sklo,racer4four,katherinescollections,smiata and antiquerose for the loves:-)
Peggy,thanks for your comment!
This weekend I will post some of my pink deco glass. I am proud of them and love them a lot, they are so beatiful as this marvelous grapes.
I'll see them with pleasure.I'm wondering how they look like .Are they Argentinian or European?
Sorry Pat for not answering your post for so long, but it has disapeard for some time somehow.
If they were attributed to Stolzle on Presgls pavillion ,they apparently are. This is the website you can trust when it comes to German,Bohemian glass. However,I've found there misattribution of Polish glass.
Ok,I'll do it in the evening
Thanks freiheit, mikelv,GeodeJem,Manikin, surfdub and PDAM for the loves
Thanks jensen and Radegunder for your loves:)
