This was a great couple of days of hunting for us last year. Actually I had been following up on a bunch of leads from collector friends while we were on vacation in Hawaii and managed to put together a string of purchases of gas pumps and even a very cool original Sinclair HC sign on a pole. We traveled from the border of Oregon to the far other side of Idaho to get this load but we're thrilled to add all these "new" visible pumps to our collection. As you can see, we don't really like to buy restored pumps in pristine condition just to put them out in the weather and let them get run down, so we buy the old stuff that we think looks pretty cool just the way it is. We now have about a hundred gas pumps of many different kinds and about 35 of those are visibles. Since the Fun is in the Hunt, it is fair to believe that this was a very Fun couple of days for us!!!! Keep on hunting!
These old pumps are now proudly displayed at aaaLakeside Storage in Provo, Ut.

It's like potato chips, you can't have just one!

Exactly! I just can't figure out why some people can't seem unable to understand that? It is so clear to us & yet totally escapes them? Sort of like guns: they say "you have one, why do you need another". We say "it's a different calibre" and they just look puzzled. That's life I guess?
