This is a very rare variant of our traditional pitchers. This pitcher is probably the oldest that I have, it was produced by local craftsmen and will stamp. Approximate dating the first half of the 19th century.
Oh wow, I am totally floored. I looked at the thumbnail on the splash page and thought for sure it was tonala!!! Even has the flor de nahual look to it!
This is why I will never be any good at pottery, lol. All these pieces sort of blend together.
